Last updated June 2026. Added Peec AI (rank 9), refreshed Profound and Scrunch AI pricing, updated SE Ranking / SE Visible product split, and added Bluefish AI (rank 16).
TL;DR
Temso is the top all-in-one GEO platform for 2026: citation-share tracking across 8 engines plus the content briefs and fixes to win the next citation, from $29/mo. For pure enterprise citation intelligence, Profound is the benchmark. Scrunch AI leads on technical completeness. AirOps is the execution engine for large content teams. Everyone else, including Otterly.AI, Peec AI, SE Visible, and Ahrefs Brand Radar, delivers strong monitoring but stops before execution. The full ranking is at /rankings/geo-tools.

Why GEO matters now
- Gartner projected traditional search engine volume will drop 25% by 2026 as AI chatbots absorb queries — the structural shift is playing out ahead of schedule.
- ChatGPT weekly active users grew from 400M (February 2025) to 900M (February 2026) — the generative-search audience that can cite or ignore your brand more than doubled in one year.
- 51% of B2B software buyers now begin purchase research in an AI chatbot, up from 29% one year earlier, and 69% chose a different vendor than initially planned based on AI chatbot guidance (G2 ‘The Answer Economy’ report, April 2026).
- Google AI Overviews appeared in 6.49% of queries in January 2025 and peaked at 24.61% by July 2025. Organic CTR fell 61% when an AI Overview was present (Semrush AI Overviews Study 2025; Seer Interactive, September 2025).
- Brand mentions in AI responses disagreed 61.9% of the time across Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, and ChatGPT — meaning a citation by one engine does not guarantee a citation by others, making multi-engine tracking essential (BrightEdge AI Catalyst research, July 2025).
The implication is straightforward: the teams setting citation patterns now are setting the patterns AI engines will reinforce over time. The first cycle of brand citations is being established in 2026.
1. Temso
Best for: SMBs, SaaS teams, and growing brands that want GEO tracking and content execution in one tool without hiring a specialist.
Pricing: From $29/mo (free trial, no credit card required). All 8 AI engines included on every plan — no add-on fees per engine.
Key features: Citation-share tracking across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Grok, Copilot, and Meta AI; built-in AI workflow that converts citation gaps into prioritised content briefs and fixes; brand perception and sentiment tracking; hallucination and accuracy monitoring; 5-minute guided setup.
Pros:
- Lowest entry price in the category with the broadest engine coverage included — 8 engines at $29/mo, no per-engine add-ons.
- The only tool that closes the full GEO loop (monitor → prioritise → create → distribute) at a flat subscription.
- Fast, guided setup accessible to marketing generalists, not just GEO specialists.
Cons:
- No traditional SEO features (backlink index, keyword rank tracking) — Temso is purpose-built for GEO and needs pairing with a conventional SEO tool for teams that need both disciplines.
- Younger brand with a smaller public G2 review footprint than Profound, Scrunch, or SE Ranking — teams requiring an extensive enterprise case-study portfolio may find the third-party validation thinner.
External rating: Listed on G2 (Answer Engine Optimization category); no verified aggregate score available at time of research.
Verdict: The only GEO platform that tracks generative citations end-to-end and ships the content to win them, at a price any team can justify. The honest caveats — no legacy SEO features, smaller G2 review count — are real but unlikely to matter for teams whose primary need is GEO.
2. Profound
Best for: Enterprise and Fortune 500 brands, large e-commerce sites, and mid-market teams with AEO-dedicated headcount needing the deepest citation intelligence.
Pricing: Starter $99/mo (ChatGPT only, 50 prompts — limited for production use); Growth $399/mo (full engine coverage, 100 daily prompts); Enterprise custom pricing. Agency Growth $1,499/mo.
Key features: Answer Engine Insights across 9+ engines; Prompt Volumes — real demand-side data from real user queries; visual citation maps; Agents for autonomous AEO content creation; Agent Analytics tracking how AI crawlers access your site; Shopping Intelligence; SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA compliance.
Pros:
- Widest engine coverage with the most granular citation-source attribution in the enterprise tier.
- Prompt Volumes is a genuine demand-side differentiator — real query demand data, not synthetic prompt sets.
- G2 2026 Best Software Awards recognition; HIPAA compliance opens healthcare and regulated-industry use cases.
Cons:
- Effective entry for a real AEO programme is $399/mo — 3–4x more expensive than Temso or Otterly.AI for comparable monitoring scope.
- Traffic attribution relies on CDN integrations, which leaves gaps for SaaS products and SMBs without CDN-level access.
External rating: Recognised in G2 2026 Best Software Awards (AI category); specific aggregate score not publicly confirmed in live G2 data at time of research.
Verdict: The enterprise benchmark for GEO citation intelligence. The price of entry means SMBs and agencies without dedicated AEO headcount will overpay for features they cannot fully use.
3. Scrunch AI
Best for: Enterprise brands and agencies needing the broadest engine coverage, SOC 2 compliance, and the ability to serve AI-optimised content directly to LLM crawlers.
Pricing: Core $250/mo (4 LLMs, 125 prompts, 5 users); Agency Core $500/mo (4 LLMs, 250 prompts, 3 workspaces, unlimited users); Enterprise custom. 7-day free trial.
Key features: Multi-LLM monitoring across up to 9 engines on Enterprise; Agent Experience Platform (AXP) that serves AI-optimised content directly to LLM crawlers without changing the human-facing site; site auditing; Agent Traffic CDN analysis; AI Search Trends; SOC 2 Type II, RBAC, SSO.
Pros:
- Only platform (alongside Adobe LLM Optimizer) covering monitoring, auditing, optimisation, content delivery, and enterprise security in one product.
- AXP is a genuine technical differentiator at the retrieval layer — it controls what LLM crawlers actually receive, not just what the human-facing site shows.
- Strong enterprise security credentials pass rigorous infosec review processes.
Cons:
- Core plan covers only 4 LLMs and 125 prompts — meaningful monitoring requires Enterprise tier pricing.
- General-purpose AI content generation was not available as of June 2026 (on roadmap).
- A third-party reviewer scored actionable insights at 2/5, noting optimisation features are still in beta.
External rating: G2: 4.6/5 (72 reviews, June 2026).
Verdict: The most technically complete GEO platform available, best suited to enterprises with security requirements and a need to control what LLM crawlers actually retrieve.
4. AirOps
Best for: Enterprise SEO and content teams managing 100+ pages who need to act on AI citation gaps at scale with governed content workflows.
Pricing: Free Solo tier (100 prompts, ChatGPT only, 1 user); Pro approximately $2,000/mo (250 prompts, 5 engines, unlimited seats); Enterprise custom.
Key features: Five-engine visibility monitoring with daily refresh; Opportunities Engine that auto-classifies gaps into Create / Refresh / Outreach / Community action types; Grid for bulk workflow execution across hundreds of pages; Page360 combining AI citation data with GSC, GA4, and content freshness signals; native CMS publishing to Webflow, WordPress, Contentful, and others.
Pros:
- Only platform with a true closed-loop system: monitoring identifies gaps, Opportunities Engine prioritises, Grid executes at scale.
- Unlimited seats on Pro makes team-wide adoption cost-effective despite the headline price.
- Free Solo tier provides a meaningful evaluation entry point.
Cons:
- Pro pricing (~$2,000/mo per third-party review) is substantially higher than pure-monitoring competitors.
- Covers only 5 AI engines vs Scrunch’s 9 — Claude, Grok, Meta AI, and Copilot are absent.
- Significant learning curve to configure Grid and custom workflows.
External rating: No public rating yet.
Verdict: The best enterprise GEO execution engine for teams that already know what to create and need to produce it at scale across hundreds of pages.
5. AthenaHQ
Best for: Mid-market SaaS, financial services, and content-driven brands (50–500 employees) that want a pure-play GEO platform with a clear path from monitoring to publishing.
Pricing: $295/mo self-serve (3,500 credits/mo, unlimited seats; first month 67% off at $95). Enterprise custom. No free tier; demo and audit available on request.
Key features: Unified AI visibility tracking across ChatGPT-4, Gemini Pro, Claude, and Perplexity; Athena Citation Engine (ACE) for citation-probability analysis; Action Center that prioritises specific content to create or update with reasoning; integrated content production suite (briefs, outlines, full articles); regional and audience segmentation.
Pros:
- Highest G2 rating in the GEO category (4.9/5) with detailed verified customer reviews citing clear ROI.
- Action Center differentiates it from pure-monitoring tools by surfacing which exact pages to create or update.
- Unlimited seats on the self-serve plan eliminates per-user cost escalation for growing teams.
Cons:
- Credit-based model creates unpredictable costs at scale — heavy users exhaust 3,500 credits quickly.
- No content-delivery layer for AI crawlers (no AXP-equivalent).
- No SOC 2 Type II certification; limited SSO/RBAC controls may fail enterprise infosec reviews.
External rating: G2: 4.9/5 (33 reviews, June 2026).
Verdict: The highest-rated GEO tool by user satisfaction, ideal for mid-market teams wanting actionable citation briefs without enterprise pricing or complexity.
6. Ahrefs Brand Radar
Best for: SEO professionals and agencies already on Ahrefs who want the broadest AI visibility dataset for competitive benchmarking and research.
Pricing: $199/mo per single AI platform index; $699/mo all-platforms bundle (2,500 custom prompt checks) — both are add-ons requiring a paid Ahrefs base plan (Lite from $129/mo). Total cost can reach $800–$900/mo for full coverage.
Key features: 405M+ search-backed prompts across 6 AI platforms; Share of Voice benchmarking against unlimited competitor domains with zero setup; top cited pages and domains analysis; historical AI visibility data from May 2025 (chatbots) and August 2024 (AI Overviews); Looker Studio connector, API/MCP access, Report Builder; YouTube, Reddit, and TikTok visibility in beta.
Pros:
- Largest prompt database (405M+) derived from real search queries — high relevance versus synthetic prompt sets used by some competitors.
- Zero setup for competitive research — useful for rapid benchmarking.
- Covers 6 AI platforms plus social signals in one dashboard.
Cons:
- AI tracking is an add-on on top of an existing Ahrefs plan, pushing total monthly cost to $800–$900/mo.
- AI chatbot data refreshes only monthly, not daily.
- Monitoring-only — no built-in content optimisation or GEO fix recommendations.
External rating: G2: 4.5/5 (702 reviews); Capterra: 4.7/5 (575 reviews) — ratings reflect the Ahrefs platform overall, not Brand Radar specifically.
Verdict: The richest citation dataset in the market, but it stops at insight. Teams that need to act on the data need a second tool.
7. Otterly.AI
Best for: Freelancers, solo SEO analysts, small agencies, and SMBs wanting affordable prompt-level citation tracking with GEO audit guidance.
Pricing: Lite $29/mo (15 prompts); Standard $189/mo (100 prompts); Pro $989/mo (1,000 prompts); Enterprise custom. 14-day free trial, no credit card.
Key features: Prompt-level citation tracking across 6 AI platforms; GEO Audit Engine auditing any URL across 20+ on-page citation-readiness factors; AI Prompt Research drawing on 10M+ daily prompts; competitive share-of-AI-voice benchmarking; public API and Claude Skill integration (June 2026); 101+ marketing workflow templates; automated weekly brand reports.
Pros:
- Named G2 High Performer (AEO category, Winter 2026) and Gartner Cool Vendor 2025 — strongest third-party recognition for its price tier.
- Entry Lite plan at $29/mo is the most accessible starting point for dedicated GEO monitoring.
- Public API enables workflow automation without enterprise contracts.
Cons:
- No competitive benchmarking or execution workflows on the Lite plan — deeper features require Standard at $189/mo.
- Steep jump from $29 to $189 for teams that outgrow 15 prompts.
- Does not cover Claude, Grok, or Meta AI natively.
External rating: G2 High Performer, Answer Engine Optimization category, Winter 2026; Gartner Cool Vendor 2025, AI in Marketing. Specific aggregate score not publicly confirmed in live G2 data at time of research.
Verdict: The best-recognised entry-level GEO monitoring tool — excellent analyst credibility and accessible pricing, but execution requires the team to act on its recommendations themselves.
8. Evertune
Best for: Fortune 500 brands and enterprise CMOs in retail, CPG, and brand-sensitive industries that need statistically significant AI brand intelligence at scale.
Pricing: $3,000/mo entry, annual contracts required. Promoted at $2.40/1,000 prompts. Higher tiers reach $5,000–$10,000+/mo. No free trial, no self-serve option.
Key features: AI Brand Index proprietary scoring across 9 engines; dual-layer measurement (foundational model knowledge via direct API plus consumer app responses); Shopping Intelligence tracking AI product recommendations; EverPanel of 25M US internet users for real-world prompt volume; Content Analytics classifying Strength URLs versus Opportunity URLs; competitive benchmarking with automatic competitor discovery.
Pros:
- Only major platform measuring both foundational model knowledge and consumer app responses — a genuine technical differentiator.
- 1M+ prompts per brand/month delivers statistically significant data far beyond sample-based tools.
- Shopping Intelligence is unique for AI-driven product recommendation visibility.
Cons:
- $3,000/mo floor with mandatory annual contracts puts it out of reach for all but large enterprise.
- No free trial and no self-serve — every engagement requires a sales call.
- US-centric consumer panel limits relevance for non-US brands.
External rating: Named a Representative Vendor in Gartner’s Market Guide for Answer Engine Visibility Tools; no verified G2/Capterra aggregate score.
Verdict: The most statistically rigorous GEO platform for Fortune 500 brand teams. Irrelevant for anyone without a $36K/year GEO budget.
9. Peec AI
Best for: Marketing agencies managing multiple client accounts and mid-market SaaS brands wanting daily multi-engine monitoring with transparent per-seat pricing.
Pricing: Starter €85/mo (50 prompts, 3 models, 1 project); Pro €205/mo (150 prompts, 2 projects); Advanced €425/mo (350 prompts, 5 projects, multi-country); Enterprise custom. Some additional engine models are add-ons at €30–€140/mo.
Key features: Prompt-level citation tracking across 9+ engines with daily updates; share of voice versus competitors; source attribution and gap analysis; Actions feature converting gaps into prioritised task queues (Owned and Earned Media); unlimited user seats on every plan; free pitch workspaces for agency new-business prospecting.
Pros:
- Unlimited users on all plans — the only major GEO platform without per-seat fees, making it genuinely cost-effective for multi-person agency teams.
- Best long-tail engine coverage including DeepSeek, Llama, and Grok.
- Transparent published pricing substantially below enterprise-focused competitors.
Cons:
- Actions feature tells you what to do but does not do it for you — execution still requires team capacity.
- Claude, Gemini AI Mode, and some models are add-ons that increase the effective price beyond the headline tier.
- No SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, or SCIM provisioning — disqualifies from many Fortune 500 procurement processes.
External rating: No public rating yet.
Verdict: The most agency-friendly GEO monitoring platform — unlimited seats, free pitch workspaces, and transparent pricing make it the natural multi-client tracking choice.
10. SE Ranking / SE Visible
Best for: SEO agencies already using SE Ranking who want GEO bundled into their existing workflow; multi-client agencies managing 30+ projects needing traditional SEO and AI visibility on one platform.
Pricing: SE Visible standalone: $99/mo (200 prompts, 3 projects), $189/mo (450 prompts, 5 projects), $355/mo (1,000 prompts, 10 projects). SE Ranking Core $129/mo includes AI prompts; AI Search Add-on adds $89/mo. 10-day free trial on SE Visible.
Key features: AI Visibility Tracker across ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, and Perplexity; cached AI answer copies; competitor domain-level benchmarking; SE Visible strategic dashboard with brand mention trends, sentiment tracking, and citation analysis; full traditional SEO suite (rank tracking, keyword research, backlink analysis, technical audit); MCP/API access.
Pros:
- Best-in-class traditional SEO foundation with GEO layered in — strong consolidation value for teams needing both disciplines.
- 4.8/5 on G2 across 1,371+ reviews with a 9.4/10 customer support score — most reviewed and trusted SEO suite in this comparison.
- 10-day free trial with no credit card.
Cons:
- GEO coverage limited to 5 engines — Claude, Copilot, Meta AI, Grok, and DeepSeek are not tracked.
- Confusing product overlap between SE Ranking suite, AI Search Add-on, and SE Visible at three separate price points.
- GEO-only buyers overpay versus dedicated specialist tools.
External rating: G2: 4.8/5 (1,371+ reviews); Capterra: 4.7/5 (284+ reviews). SE Visible specifically: 5.0/5 on OMR Reviews (2 reviews only — too few to be statistically meaningful).
Verdict: The strongest combined SEO + GEO platform for agencies already in the SE Ranking ecosystem, but a weaker choice for teams that only need AI citation tracking.
11. Surfer SEO
Best for: Content teams and SEO practitioners who want to create and optimise content with both traditional SERP rankings and AI citation performance in mind.
Pricing: Discovery $49/mo; Standard $99/mo; Pro $182/mo; Peace of Mind $299/mo (billed annually). Enterprise from $999/mo. Free trial available.
Key features: Content Editor with real-time NLP-based Content Score calibrated for Google and AI citations; AI Tracker across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, and Gemini (Pro and above); Topical Map for content cluster planning; 1-click content optimisation and internal linking; Content Audit with ranking-drop alerts; native integrations with WordPress, Google Docs, Contentful, and Zapier.
Pros:
- Content optimisation and AI visibility tracking are tightly integrated — write and optimise for LLM citations without leaving the platform.
- Competitive pricing starting at $99/mo for a meaningful feature set.
- Capterra 4.9/5 from 421 reviews reflects strong user satisfaction among content teams.
Cons:
- AI visibility tracking is secondary to content optimisation — fewer AI platforms covered, with no Copilot or Grok.
- Standard plan tracks only ChatGPT with weekly refreshes — multi-engine daily tracking requires Pro at $182/mo or above.
- Now owned by Semrush, which introduces some product roadmap uncertainty.
External rating: Capterra: 4.9/5 (421 reviews).
Verdict: The best GEO-integrated content editor for teams whose primary workflow is writing and optimising pages, rather than tracking and strategising citation share.
12. Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit
Best for: Mid-market teams and SMBs already using Semrush for SEO who want to add basic AI visibility monitoring without switching tools.
Pricing: $99/mo add-on on top of Semrush Pro ($139.95/mo+). Semrush One bundle from $199/mo. Extra domain $99/mo; extra 50 prompts $60/mo; per-user access $99/mo each.
Key features: AI Visibility Score benchmarking against auto-detected competitors; Competitor Research identifying prompts where rivals are cited but you are not; Prompt Research for AI query volume and intent; Brand Performance reports with share of voice, sentiment, and narrative driver analysis; daily Prompt Tracking (up to 25 prompts base); AI Search Site Audit flagging technical crawler issues.
Pros:
- Integrates AI visibility with existing Semrush SEO data — keyword rankings, site audit, competitive research — in one dashboard.
- Familiar Prompt Research UX mirrors keyword research, reducing adoption friction for SEO practitioners.
- Brand Performance sentiment analysis provides useful strategic brand intelligence.
Cons:
- True all-in cost is high — base AI toolkit plus required SEO plan plus per-user and per-domain add-ons accumulate quickly.
- Limited engine coverage (3–4 LLMs) versus dedicated GEO platforms.
- Brand Performance data refreshes weekly; Trustpilot shows recurring billing and cancellation complaints.
External rating: G2: 4.5/5 (3,911 reviews) — rating reflects the Semrush platform overall, not the AI Visibility Toolkit specifically.
Verdict: A reasonable starting point for Semrush users extending into GEO, but the add-on pricing model and limited engine coverage make it a poor choice as a primary GEO tool.
13. Otto SEO (Search Atlas)
Best for: SEO agencies and operators who want execution automation across technical SEO, content, and local SEO, with LLM visibility bundled in at a mid-range price.
Pricing: Starter $99/mo (7-day free trial; limited LLM Visibility); Growth $199/mo (LLM tracking, 2 OTTO projects); Pro $399/mo (all LLM models, 4 projects, white label); Agency approximately $999/mo.
Key features: OTTO SEO AI agent autonomously executing technical fixes, on-page optimisation, and content updates via a connected pixel; LLM Visibility tracking ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and SearchGPT (Growth and above); Content Genius AI content creation with NLP semantic coverage; Atlas Brain conversational strategy assistant; GBP Galactic for Google Business Profile automation; Smart Ads for automated Google and Meta ad management.
Pros:
- OTTO SEO’s implementation-first model deploys fixes directly rather than only auditing — a genuine differentiator for agencies.
- LLM Visibility plus traditional SEO plus content creation plus paid ads at $199/mo is strong consolidation value.
- 7-day free trial with full feature access.
Cons:
- LLM Visibility is locked behind Growth ($199/mo) — Starter plan has very limited AI tracking.
- Platform stability and speed are recurring user complaints in G2 and Capterra reviews.
- Trustpilot rating (3.5/5, 172 reviews) is materially lower than G2/Capterra ratings, with recurring themes around support responsiveness and billing.
External rating: G2: 4.8/5 (94 reviews); Capterra: 4.9/5 (66 reviews); Trustpilot: 3.5/5 (172 reviews).
Verdict: The best all-in-one SEO automation platform with GEO visibility built in — compelling for agencies that want implementation rather than reports, but the mixed Trustpilot sentiment is worth investigating before committing.
14. Goodie AI
Best for: Growth teams, PR and SEO specialists wanting an all-in-one GEO monitoring, optimisation, and content writing platform with multi-country support.
Pricing: Pro $645/mo billed quarterly or $495/mo billed annually. Team and Enterprise plans are custom. No widely advertised free tier.
Key features: AI Visibility Monitoring across major AI platforms; AI Optimization Hub with semantic content and schema tag suggestions; Topic Explorer for content gap identification; AEO Content Writer drafting AI-engine-optimised text; Agentic Commerce Optimizer for product visibility in AI shopping results; AI Crawler Analytics; multi-country and multi-language segmentation.
Pros:
- Combines monitoring, semantic optimisation, and content drafting in one platform.
- Multi-country and multi-language support enables regional AI citation segmentation.
- Agentic Commerce Optimizer is a differentiator for retail brands tracking product mentions in AI answers.
Cons:
- Entry price ($495/mo annual) is high relative to competitors with comparable monitoring breadth.
- Full implementation requires human management of content suggestions — limited autonomous execution.
- Users report challenges interpreting search query data.
External rating: No public rating yet.
Verdict: A feature-rich GEO platform with genuine content and commerce differentiation, but priced at a level that competes with more established enterprise tools without the same brand recognition.
15. Knowatoa
Best for: B2B marketing teams and SEO consultants who want structured AI visibility diagnostics with dedicated account support at an accessible price.
Pricing: Starter $59/mo (30 questions, 3 engines, 7-day free trial); Growth $199/mo (100 questions, 7 engines, Looker Studio); Enterprise $499+/mo (custom limits, hourly to weekly refresh, API).
Key features: 7-engine tracking (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, Claude, Gemini, Meta AI, Perplexity on Growth and above); BISCUIT Framework reverse-engineering why competitors outrank you in AI answers; AI Answer Snapshots showing full cached responses; competitor gap analysis; source opportunity identification; done-for-you content drafting agents (Growth); daily data refresh on all plans; dedicated account representative on Starter.
Pros:
- Dedicated account representative included on the $59/mo Starter plan — unusual at this price tier.
- Daily data refreshes and BISCUIT diagnostic framework on all plans provide diagnostic depth beyond raw tracking.
- Free visibility audit with no sign-up required; 7-day trial requires no credit card.
Cons:
- Only 3 AI engines on Starter ($59/mo) — Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity require Growth ($199/mo).
- Question caps (30 on Starter, 100 on Growth) become a structural bottleneck for teams monitoring multiple brands or markets.
- No public third-party reviews, making it harder to independently validate effectiveness claims.
External rating: No public G2/Capterra rating yet.
Verdict: A well-priced entry into GEO diagnostics with genuinely differentiated 1-on-1 support, but the question caps and absence of third-party validation will give cautious buyers pause.
16. Bluefish AI
Best for: Fortune 500 enterprises in regulated or brand-sensitive industries (financial services, auto, CPG, beauty) needing comprehensive AI brand governance with expert advisory.
Pricing: Quote-only; no public pricing. Enterprise-first, custom deployment. Contact sales required.
Key features: Real-time multi-engine visibility across 5 engines with advanced metrics (favourability, sentiment, safety, accuracy); AI Brand Vault metadata governance layer achieving 97% cross-engine brand consistency in internal tests; AI Accuracy feature detecting factual inaccuracies in AI-generated brand descriptions; Collections for campaign-level ROI measurement; Custom AI Audiences for proprietary customer segments; professional services overlay.
Pros:
- Only platform with an AI Brand Vault for metadata governance — addresses root cause of brand misrepresentation in LLMs rather than just surfacing symptoms.
- Deep professional services layer with expert-led GEO advisory and model-reasoning reviews.
- Well-funded ($67M raised, $43M Series B April 2026) with Fortune 500 customers including Adidas.
Cons:
- No public pricing and no self-serve option — evaluation requires a full sales engagement.
- Not yet SOC 2 Type II certified as of June 2026 despite enterprise positioning.
- Product-service hybrid model means less standardised workflows and longer deployment timelines than plug-and-play SaaS.
External rating: No public rating yet.
Verdict: The most sophisticated brand-governance GEO solution available, but accessible only to enterprises that can invest in a bespoke engagement — no self-serve, no public pricing.
17. Writesonic AI Search Visibility
Best for: Content-focused marketing teams at SMB to mid-market scale that want to combine AI writing and GEO tracking in one subscription.
Pricing: Basic $249/mo ($199/mo annual); Growth $499/mo ($399/mo annual); Enterprise custom. Writing-only plans from $49/mo but exclude GEO features.
Key features: AI visibility tracking across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews (Basic and Growth); adds Perplexity, Claude, Copilot, AI Mode, and Grok at Enterprise (8 engines); Brand Presence tracking with citation monitoring and competitor share of voice; sentiment analysis (Growth and above); AI bot analytics showing how crawlers navigate your site; built-in AI content generation; Action Center with prioritised recommendations (Enterprise only).
Pros:
- Built-in content generation lets teams act on AI visibility gaps without switching tools.
- G2 4.7/5 from 2,113 reviews shows strong user satisfaction for core AI writing capabilities.
- 8-engine coverage at Enterprise tier is among the broader sets in the mid-market segment.
Cons:
- Action Center (the feature that makes GEO insights actionable) is Enterprise-only — self-serve plans at $249–$499/mo deliver monitoring without clear optimisation guidance.
- AI content quality received mixed reviews — described by some users as generic and similar to base ChatGPT output.
- $249/mo entry tier gets only 3 engines and 100 prompts with no sentiment analysis or action recommendations.
External rating: G2: 4.7/5 (2,113 reviews) — rating primarily reflects the AI writing tool, not the GEO/AI visibility suite which launched mid-2025.
Verdict: Best for content teams already using Writesonic for writing who want GEO monitoring bundled in, but the Action Center lock-out at lower tiers blunts its end-to-end value proposition.
How we ranked these
Rankings reflect research conducted during May and June 2026. We scored each platform against five criteria:
- Optimization workflow (40%). Does the tool close the loop from “we are not appearing” to a brief or page that has a real chance of being cited? Most platforms stop at the dashboard layer. Tools that close the loop rank higher.
- Engine coverage (25%). Minimum for 2026: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews. Anything beyond that is a meaningful coverage upgrade. Coverage is scored at the tier a typical buyer would actually purchase, not the Enterprise ceiling.
- Source attribution (15%). When a citation appears, can the tool identify which specific page on your domain the AI engine used? Without this, content strategy is undiagnosable.
- Pricing accessibility (15%). Does the entry tier provide meaningful multi-engine coverage, or is the real product behind a $2,000+/mo enterprise contract?
- Third-party validation (5%). Verified G2 and Capterra ratings, analyst recognition, and publicly documented customer outcomes.
We do not accept payment for ranking positions. Tool profiles include honest caveats — including for the top-ranked tool. Pricing was verified from public pricing pages in June 2026; enterprise-custom pricing is noted as such. Where a G2 or Capterra aggregate score was not verifiable in live data at time of research, we write “no public rating yet” rather than reporting an unverified number.

Decision guide
Use this to narrow to two or three candidates before a free trial:
- Use Temso if you want GEO monitoring and content execution in one flat-price tool, at any budget from $29/mo.
- Use Profound if GEO has to roll up to enterprise leadership and you need the deepest citation-source intelligence with SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance.
- Use Scrunch AI if your technical team needs to control what LLM crawlers retrieve and you need SOC 2, RBAC, and SSO.
- Use AirOps if your bottleneck is executing GEO fixes at scale across 100+ pages and you need a governed content workflow engine.
- Use AthenaHQ if you want the highest G2-rated GEO experience with clear action recommendations at mid-market pricing.
- Use Ahrefs Brand Radar if you already pay for Ahrefs and want the broadest AI citation dataset for competitive research with zero additional setup.
- Use Otterly.AI if you are a freelancer, solo analyst, or small agency and want Gartner-recognised GEO monitoring starting at $29/mo.
- Use Peec AI if you run an agency with multiple client accounts and need unlimited seats, free pitch workspaces, and transparent per-project pricing.
- Use SE Visible / SE Ranking if SE Ranking is already your daily SEO tool and you want GEO added without a new login.
- Use Surfer SEO if your primary workflow is writing and optimising content and you want AI citation tracking integrated into the editor.
- Use Semrush AI Visibility if you are already inside Semrush and want basic GEO monitoring without migrating your SEO workflow.
- Use Otto SEO if you run an agency and want a platform that deploys SEO and GEO fixes automatically rather than just reporting them.
- Use Evertune if you are a Fortune 500 brand team that needs statistically significant AI brand measurement with a $3,000+/mo budget and mandatory annual contracts.
- Use Writesonic if you already use Writesonic for AI writing and want GEO tracking bundled in — with the caveat that the Action Center is Enterprise-only.
- Use Goodie AI if you have multi-country GEO needs and an e-commerce or retail brand that benefits from the Agentic Commerce Optimizer.
- Use Knowatoa if you want a budget diagnostic tool with included account support and are comfortable with a smaller public review footprint.
- Use Bluefish AI if you are a Fortune 500 enterprise needing AI brand governance with professional services and are prepared for a bespoke engagement.
